Breaking of Bread

The service which we have on a Sunday morning called 'Breaking of Bread' is at the very core of our beliefs. We believe that Jesus died and rose again, and that he will soon return to take all true believers to heaven.

We also believe that He wants us to remember his death and anticipate his return by this method. The Bible teaches:

For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you: The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me." In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me." For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until he comes.
1st Corinthians 11:23-26
Family Service

Sunday mornings at 11:30 is the time when we hold the Family Service.

This is a relatively new venture for as at this time of day, because we think it will be a more family friendly time.

A varied programme suitable for both the younger and more mature is practiced, but at each service we preach a Bible based message which is relevant for everyone present. We preach the Gospel.

This message is preached by those who know firsthand the message they are preaching, and have experienced the power of God in their lives.

For more information on The Gospel see the section dedicated to that subject.
